WE TRANSFORM EMBROIDERY INTO JEWELRY

Embroidery artisans and masters of TANE, working together to immortalize one of the most important immortalize one of the most important cultural heritages of the country.

In a process of search and collaborative creation of more than two years, we undertook the mission of linking with the Textile Museum of Oaxaca, which from its experience and proximity to the communities that create the most beautiful textiles of the state, brought TANE to the community of San Antonino, Oaxaca, where the hands of the embroiderers were willing to open the intimacy of their craftsmanship to the goldsmith's house.
As part of TANE's responsibility to build a more just world, the collection BORDADOS by TANE has been created under strict standards of transparency and legality, as well as practices based on respect for the cultural and social values of all those involved. The embroiderers' cooperative of San Antonino Castillo Velasco, Oaxaca, has given its formal consent to collaborate with TANE and reproduce its designs as part of the pieces in the collection. A percentage of the sales of the collection is paid to the cooperative as royalties for the designs and it is the artisans who own the legal and intellectual authorship of all the pieces.
