Corn is the alma (soul) of Mexico.
Corn is Alma by TANE.

Corn, sacred to pre-Hispanic cultures and a central food in the vast gastronomy of the country, is an element that we could not fail to honor at TANE Mexico 1942.

Alma by TANE draws inspiration from one of Mexico's cultural and natural treasures: corn.
It delves into the heart of Mexican identity, elevating it from a cornerstone of our gastronomy
to a symbol of history, tradition and everyday life.

Alma by TANE showcases artisanal excellence in technique. Each detail is meticulously worked
and crafted by TANE's master silversmiths with polished finishes in sterling silver, 23 karat yellow gold vermeil
and 18 karat rose gold vermeil, the DNA of the Mexican luxury house.

Sterling silver

Silver is the most malleable, ductile and lustrous precious metal in existence. To this day, Mexico is the world's leading producer of silver.

TANE Mexico 1942 uses only sterling silver, which is 92.5% pure silver mixed with other metals such as copper. This gives it the strength it needs to be used in jewelry. All of TANE's silver comes directly from Mexican mines.

Yellow gold vermeil

TANE Mexico 1942 has the most reliable vermeil plating, being one of the only brands in the world to apply 6 microns of 23 karat yellow gold in each plating, making the vermeil a long-lasting gold deposit, depending on its use.

It is made through a technique called electroplating, an artisanal process that requires extreme precision as the vermeil is applied in some parts of a specific piece.

Rose gold vermeil

The 18K rose gold plating has a soft and warm gold color that gives the jewelry a truly romantic and elegant look.

It is applied by electroplating, the same method used to apply yellow gold vermeil.

Gold

Gold, one of the most precious materials on earth, is the protagonist of some of our most emblematic collections. TANE presents a wide variety of jewelry in 18 karat yellow gold.
