We are pleased to announce the collaboration between Jorge Marín and TANE Mexico 1942: the new work of art from TANE's Objet d’Art series, Alas de Mexico, a recreation of the renowned artist's iconic work.
Alas de México (2010) is a monumental 14-foot sculpture that has traveled to over 35 cities and found a permanent home in 15 locations around the world.
Alas de México, TANE's Objet d’Art, reinterprets the original large-scale sculpture and transforms it into intimate and detailed versions crafted in sterling silver, a signature of the Mexican luxury house, with accents in 23K yellow gold vermeil.
Marín is a world-renowned master sculptor whose work has transcended borders. His art stirs conscience and challenges us to seek our own reflection and aesthetic experience.
With more than 30 years of experience, he's become a leading figure in contemporary figurative sculpture, both in Mexico and around the world. His work has extended beyond galleries and private collections, becoming a part of the urban landscape in streets and squares across the globe.
“For me, the permanence of Alas de México in public spaces has deep meanings. Above all, it symbolizes the many works scattered around the world. My greatest wish is to contribute to an increasingly supportive and harmonious society.”
